The problem
A charity needed to pair hundreds of volunteers with elderly people to reduce loneliness. They were juggling spreadsheets, Trello boards, and email threads — and things kept falling through the cracks.
Volunteers were being double-booked, check-ins were missed, and nobody had a clear picture of who was matched with whom.
What we built
We built a bespoke CRM that matches volunteers with elderly people by location, manages regular check-ins, and puts everything in one place.
Staff can see at a glance who needs a visit, who’s overdue, and where the gaps are. Volunteers get reminders and can log visits from their phone.
The result
The charity replaced four separate tools with one system that actually works for them. Volunteer retention improved because the process became less frustrating, and the team now spends their time helping people instead of wrestling with spreadsheets.
